Algorithm Full Work Joe Darby & Kai Downham

A duet made for Instep Dance Company's production in 2011 (www.instepdance.co.uk) initially but then was re-worked and extended for Resolution! platform at The Place in London

The first section began with exploring the 'Algorithm's' of a Rubix Cube and how that idea developed throughout the creative process. Through this process we found a sense of play through rules , almost like a game. We then explored different children's games such as twister, dot to dot, operation and jenga. This would lead to starting points for different sections of the work.
